The training is focused mainly on opportunities and ways for fundraising on local level. The participants have an opportunity to share their own experience – difficulties and successes – and along with that to receive an information for successful initiatives, carried out in towns and villages throughout Bulgaria. Non-traditional for Bulgaria approaches for fundraising are discussed during the training as well.
The goal of the training is to contribute to the increase of the participants’ effectiveness in the fundraising and to help the participants to develop a long-tem strategy for fundraising.

Participants in the training will gain knowledge and skills for:

• Types of donors; 
• Motivating of the different types of donors; 
• Different fundraising techniques; 
• Fundraising campaigns planning; 
• Developing and maintaining of a long-term cooperation with the donors;
