Strategic planning is one of the most effective methods for an organization or a team to evaluate the current situation and to position itself in the future circumstances. Changes in the technologies, products, markets and other factors of the external environment are inevitable, which demands adequate changes to be made in the internal environment of a certain organization. The strategic planning allows the organisations/teams to foresee the changes, to make deliberate decisions and to outline the work direction. The training explains how a strategic plan should be successfully developed and implemented. In the framework of the training the basic steps for developing of a strategic plan are presented, as well as methodologies and techniques which can be used during each of the steps.
