WCIF is implementing 3 main programmes – Learning, Success, Change, Living Heritage and Local Resource Mobilization. Our intervention is always grounded on the following four interrelated elements:

Capacity Building - WCIF understanding of capacity building is a set of residential modular trainings, on site consultancy and facilitation and on line support. Over different periods of time, WCIF helps community groups to build on their own experiences to better identify needs and resources and to develop and implement local projects.

Grant-making - WCIF deliver small grants to the community groups, so the learning to be put into practice.

Building on and advocating local resources - All grants delivered by WCIF have local matching, thus breaking the vicious circle of dependency on foreign funding and complementing to the process of building local philanthropy.

Research and need analysis – WCIF intervention is based on complex research and examination thus providing needed response.

Local philanthropy development - WCIF works actively for development of loacl pholanthropy - both on corporate and individual levels.
