Bulgarian Civil sector in EU – what really happened and what is forthcoming

On July 27, 2007 Fifth Annual Meeting of WCIF will be organized for our entire friends and partners that jointed us trough the years.

In addition to Bulgaria’s participation in the European Union and the NGO sector forth coming changes, WCIF decided to devote this year’s annual meeting to that changes. The title and the idea of it is related to all the questions we are asking ourselves: how is the participation in EU related to the civic organizations, what are the funding opportunities, what challenges stand in front of the NGOs in Bulgaria and many other questions.
Guiding subjects of the discussions will be:

Foreign NGOs’ attempt in EU – balance of the participation
The funding opportunities by EU funds
Opportunities for NGOs’ and local authorities’ partnership

The Fifth Annual Meeting will include presentations and discussions over the participants’ experience for 2007. The subject of the main discussion is - Just after participating in EU, what is happening from now on with the civic sector? Is steadiness possible?

You will meet interesting people, opportunities for experience exchange, many experts’ opinions, info materials, awards and (of course) great emotions.
