NGO economic activity development fund closed

NGO economic activity development fund was established in October 2005. Since then three sessions were announced.

At the end of July 2006 WCIF took a decision to close the last session of the fund due to the big amount of applications and the fact that the approved projects cover the current capacity of the fund.

Up to now nine organisations have received micro-grants for elaboration of business plans, as well as ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 leva have been extended under the fund.

Business plans of five organisations are currently in process of approval and afterwards they are to receive credits from First Investment Bank. After evaluation of the fund’s work WCIF will take a decision whether to continue its existence. Information for possible future sessions of the fund will be published on our web site.
