Official presentation of two projects, financed by FIBank

On March 21, 2006 First Investment Bank (FIBank) and Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF) organized an official presentation of two of the approved projects for financing from First Investment Bank Social Responsibility Fund. The first project is developed by The Pokrov Foundation and the second one by ECON Eco-concept Association. The presentation was made in FIBank central branch on 37, Dragan Tzankov Blvd. № 37 at 4 PM.

In October 2004 FIBank, in co-operation with WCIF, established First Investment Bank Social Responsibility Fund, which is a continuation of the bank’s policy during the last four years for support of children from institutions. FIBank financed five projects from the fund in 2005 at a total value of 19,416 Bulgarian leva.

Seven projects at a total value of 25,000 leva will be financed from the second session of First Investment Bank Social Responsibility Fund.

The second session of First Investment Bank Social Responsibility Fund was announced in the period from November 30, 2005 to February 1, 2006. Some 51 projects from 30 Bulgarian towns and villages were submitted by the final term of the session.

The evaluation of the projects was made in two stages: 1/ by an Advisory Group – a team of NGO experts in the field of projects, related to children, and 2/ by a FIBank team.

An official presentation of the other projects will be made in the towns, where they will be delivered. Representatives of the teams that will deliver the projects are invited at the events as well as representatives of the respective institutions that the projects are made for.
