The working process over thе organization of ZAEDNO annual awards second edition, keeps on going.

The winners will be announced on July 24, 2007 on an official ceremony in Grand Hotel Sofia (Sofia Hall), starting at 19 p.m. The winner in Best NGO campaign category will be awarded and with 2000 BGN. This year ZAEDNO will award with certificate and statuette all the winners in totally five categories and two additional categories for journalist and media. The ZAEDNO statuettes were designed specially for the edition by ORT – manufacturer of contract furniture.

In 2007, WCIF organises again ZAEDNO annual awards competition in order to encourage the people and the institutions that have taken up the noble task to raise funds for socially significant causes. We want to popularize the good fundraising practices as we are convinced that in this field there are more and more professionals in Bulgaria who achieve remarkable results for the benefit of the whole Bulgarian society. For participation in ZAEDNO annual awards, can be nominated organisations and institutions that have carried out fundraising campaigns within the period from June 2006 to July 2007. Individuals cannot be nominated for participation in the competition. Each organisation or institution can be nominated by another organisation, institution or individual or can be nominated by itself.

In 2006, the jury awarded five campaigns. The biggest award went to “St.st. Kiril i Metodi” primary school in Burkachevo village, the Most innovative campaign award was given to Globul (Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile), best fundraising campaign award of an NGO was given to We exist as well association and to the Children of Ruse foundation. At last but not least Community donors’ forum – Stara Zagora received the Most raised funds category award for its The children – our future campaign.
