Donations for improvement of conditions of life of 170 children from an orphanage in Sofia can be made through the first Bulgarian online donations web site www.zaedno.bg. “Childhood for “P.R.Slaveikov” orphanage kids, but what kind of childhood?” campaign which raises funds for the orphanage reconstruction is published on Zaedno.bg.

“P.R.Slavejkov” is the largest orphanage in Bulgaria and the harsh conditions in it do not allow the proper attention and upbringing to be given to the children. After the completion of the orphanage reconstruction, conditions for giving of consultations to the children from psychologists and special pedagogues will be created, as well as there will be much more spaces for individual work with the children on the separate school subjects. In the separated bigger premises group activities will be carried out, as for example celebrations, different appearances of the children as well as organised activities on groups of special interests.

Implementation of the orphanage reconstruction is part of the overall change of the care for the children in “P.R.Slaveikov” orphanage, for which funds are already provided. The total repair of the orphanage costs 90,000 leva. Some 33,000 leva from corporate donors have been raised so far. A total of 57,000 leva are to be raised from now on.
