The first sum of 137.50 Bulgarian levs from the sale of a unique jewel went to the banking account of “My roots” campaign of Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation.
The jewelry is elaborated in the style of adornments of Egyptian, Tracian, Greek, Roman and Celtic civilizations. Most of the jewelry is inspired by ancient adornments from Bulgaria.
The idea of the elaboration of the unique jewelry is of d-r Valentina Grigorova-Gencheva, director of Gold and Numismatics Department of First Investment Bank, and Maria Tsoneva – Ivanova, founder and owner of Velmar Bulgaria.
The official presentation of the unique jewelry was made on December 8, 2006 in hotel “Sheraton” in Sofia.
With the support of “My roots” campaign the initiators of the current initiative create a bridge between the different cultural epochs of Bulgaria and contribute to preservation and popularization of the rich cultural heritage of our country from the Ancient times till the present day. We, Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation, are extremely grateful that the initiators chose us as a partner in that noble undertaking!
