WCIF launches a website for on-line donations www.zaedno.bg

Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF) has launched a website for on-line donations www.zaedno.bg.

“Zaedno.bg” aims at producing fundraising opportunity to different Bulgarian NGOs and institutions. The site is a tool for promotion of different campaigns in the web space, where they can be seen by the general public.

“Zaedno.bg” also aims at facilitating people, who want to donate, by presenting them different important causes among which they could make their choice, thus sparing their time and efforts in terms of identifying giving opportunities for executing the act of donation, as the donations are made on-line by debit and credit cards.

The first campaigns, published on the website, are for raising funds for floods’ victims, for improvement of social skills of the children from institutions, for rеpair of flats of women, who take care of their family, for environmental protection and for recovery and preservation of films’ copies of the Bulgarian National Film Archive.

WCIF initiative is so far supported by First Investment Bank, Digital Systems, ePay, NetInfo BG, Radio Bulgaria, Face to Face Bulgaria.
The website is developed by other partners of the initiative - RIZN Communication Design.

“Zaedno.bg” will be presented to the journalists on a special event, which will take place in Bulgarian News Agency on May 15, 2006.
